In 2005, Raider Nation tragically lost one of our own Raiders, Jack Snook.
He is the son of Jack and Pat Snook and graduated from North Forsyth in 1999. He was a 2-year letter winner in football, voted all-county and all area as a defensive back, nominated for the Georgia North-South All-Star game and was voted the North Forsyth High School Male Athlete of the Year that same year.
Jack committed to play football for Georgia Southern University. He was a decorated Sergeant in the Marines during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqui Freedom.
Today – Jack’s #40 jersey is framed and hangs on the walls in the fieldhouse. His number is only worn by a player who demonstrates the Character, Toughness, and Leadership Skills that are indicative of Jack Snook.
Each season a player is chosen by the North Forsyth Raider Football Staff that is most deserving of this Honor!
THIS YEARS WINNER OF THE JACK SNOOK AWARD is Senior, JACOB KENYON.
Jack Snook's memory and legend will live on by seeing Jacob wear #40 on the field this year.
Congratulations to Jacob for exemplifying the high standards that #40 represents!
